Parkview Square is an office building located at
600 North Bridge Road, Singapore 188778.

The Parkview Square building, aka the Gotham City building, faces North Bridge Road, across from the 380-bed Raffles Hospital.

It is the only building on an open field bordered by N Bridge Rd, Ophir Rd, Beach Rd and Rochor Rd.

Also on this site, the open field betwen Parkview Sq and Gateway, is where most circuses visiting Singapore pitch their tents.

Two bars, the Divine Society and
The Macallan, occupy the lounge in this building’s lobby, along with a three-story wine depository. Bar patrons are served by hoisted female ‘angels’ who fetch the stored wine bottles.

The granite cladded, art deco office building was designed by American consultant James Adams together with DP Architects of Singapore, and housesmodern, column-free floors. It was among the more expensive office buildings to build in Singapore. It is said they are so exclusive they select their tenants, such as the Singapore embassies of Austria and the United Arab Emirates.

You may be familiar with the white and the black Sir Stamford Raffles statues displayed outside in downtown Singapore. Inside Parkview Square is a 3rd Sir Stamford Raffles statue.

It has been said the building appears to follow a pedestrian around as one walks through downtown Singapore.

The raised plaza that fronts the building entrance has bronze statues of random famous people, including; Sun Yat-sen, Abraham Lincoln, Salvador Dalí, Mozart, Chopin, Isaac Newton, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Shakespeare, Plato, Dante, Winston Churchill and Albert Einstein.

Exiting from the Parkview Square entrance plaza via an underground tunnel, a sign promises the escalator will take you down to the Green line MRT station, E-W #12 at Bugis.
At the bottom, however, is nothing but walls and a short walk to another escalator that goes up to the N Bridge Rd Car Park, by the intersection of N Bridge Rd and Rochor Rd. Continuing up to Rochor Rd and Victoria Street, you will find the actual entrance to the Ew12 Bugis train station.

You can purchase a ticket for a ride in the red and yellow DHL balloon, out to the right of Parkview Square, the building houses a DHL regional office. A 10 minute flight is SD$23 for adult and SD$13 for child.
